It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA Foundation). A pan-African, non-profit, charitable organization, that aims to support, strengthen, and promote science and innovation in Africa.

The goal of the SFA Foundation is to support African scientists in addressing the continent’s most pressing challenges and developmental needs through science and innovation programmes and their outcomes. Through SFA Foundation we will generate knowledge that solves problems. This knowledge will be used to inform decision-making and enable scientists to collaborate effectively and nurture interdisciplinary expertise. The organisation is committed to improving the quality of life for African people and promoting the uptake of research in communities, industry, and the public sectors.
