Title: Climate-Focused Analytics and Modeling for Mosquito-Borne Infections in Southern Africa (CAMMISA)
Focus Area: Sheetal Silal will lead a consortium analysing how climate change shapes malaria, chikungunya, and dengue transmission in Southern Africa. Using mathematical, statistical, and climate modeling, the team will develop short-, medium-, and long-term climate scenarios to guide disease control planning and assess the potential impact and cost of interventions.
