Title: Syndemic Disease Modeling to Optimize Health Service Integration in Africa

Focus Area: Dr. Mary Mwanyika Sando (AAPH) will lead a project to model how HIV services can be better integrated with other healthcare in Tanzania and South Africa. The team will assess how HIV interacts with chronic conditions, identify optimal care strategies, and co-create practical integration frameworks with local partners. Experts from Erasmus MC, Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, SACEMA, and Wits University will collaborate closely with national HIV programs to support evidence-based service integration in Africa.
