Focus Area: Bruno Mmbando will model how combining malaria chemoprevention and vaccines affects childhood malaria in Africa. His work will determine when chemoprevention stops being cost-effective as vaccine uptake rises and assess how drug resistance influences impact. He will collaborate with modelers, economists, and epidemiologists to produce tools that support malaria policy and decision-making.
